Thank god that it turns out Gabriel Liotta will not be playing Peeta. Although he is still on the IMDb list, Lionsgate have confirmed that he will not be playing Peeta in the movie. They say:

“Gabriel Liotta is not playing Peeta …We had removed it and it appears he has placed himself back up onto the site.”

However, Alex Pettyfer has met the casting agent. A site reports:

At the premiere of his new movie Beastly, Alex Pettyfer told Access Hollywood that he has met with Alli Shearmur, president of motion picture production for Lionsgate, and also a co-producer of the Hunger Games movie. Alex mentioned that he’s still undecided, and still waiting to see the script.

Personally, I wouldn't like either of them but what do you guys think?

Yeah, I agree. I think Hunter Parrish would be a better Peeta than either of them, but I'd rather have Alex Pettyfer than Gabriel Liotta. Thanks for the good news I've been waiting to hear! (iced-cookies)
